Culturally Competent Care

The goal of culturally competent health care services is to provide the highest quality of care to every patient, regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity, English proficiency or literacy.1 We recognize that it is our responsibility, along with our participating providers, to meet the unique needs of our diverse membership through customized health-related information and services.
